PHILOSOPHY

Lake
Christian
Camp (PLCC) is a year-round camp and retreat center, which seeks to
glorify God by providing an environment of enrichment, and by
ministering to the needs of individuals, churches, and organizations in
an outdoor setting. Our goal
is to help all who come onto the camp grounds to know Christ in a deeper
way than when they first arrived.
Our focus of ministry is
twofold:

To
serve the Iowa
Baptist
Conference
Churches
and Pastors, and to serve other Christian
churches and para-church organizations in a manner that will
foster spiritual growth.

To
serve non-Christian individuals, sharing openly with love, the
message of Christ and its relevance to their lives.
CAMP
OBJECTIVES
-
To
Operate as an Arm of the Church—To assist the local
churches in fulfillment of the great commission, by providing an
evangelistic and nurturing setting.

To
Represent Jesus Christ to the World—To ensure that
everyone who comes into contact with PLCC will hear the message
that Christ loves them and offers them the gift of eternal life

To
Minister to the Needs of People and to Serve Them as Effectively
as Possible—To minister to the needs of the whole person—physically,
emotionally, and spiritually.

Provide a
Learning
Center--To
provide opportunity for individuals to gain knowledge and
develop skills that will equip them to be more effective
servants of Jesus Christ.

Glorify God in Everything We Do
